THE CORPSE THAT COULDN’T STAY DEAD

JOHN 11:1-3,14,15,21- NOW A CERTAIN MAN, WAS SICK, NAMED LAZARUS OF BETHANY, THE TOWN OF MARY AND HER SISTER MARTHA.

IT WAS  THAT MARY WHICH ANOINTED THE LORD WITH OINTMENT, AND WIPED HIS FEET WITH HER HAIR, WHOSE BROTHER LAZARUS WAS SICK.

THEREFORE HIS SISTERS SENT UNTO HIM SAYING, LORD BEHOLD, HE WHOM THOU LOVEST IS SICK.

THEN SAID JESUS UNTO THEM PLAINLY, LAZARUS IS DEAD.

 

AND I AM GLAD FOU YOUR SAKES THAT I WAS NOT THERE, TO THE INTENT YE MAY BELIEVE: NEVERTHELESS LET US GO UNTO HIM.

THEN  SAID MARTHA UNTO JESUS, LORD, IF THOU HADST BEEN HERE, MY BROTHER HAD NOT DIED.

MARTHA’S FAITH STOPPED AT THE DEATH OF HER BROTHER. THE GRAVE WAS THE END OF HER FAITH. HER FAITH WAS LIMITED TO SEEING HER BROTHER’S BREATH.

MANY OF US CAN ONLY BELIEVE IF WE SEE, BUT THE KIND OF FAITH THE LORD WANT’S US TO WALK AND LIVE IN, IS A FAITH THAT DOESN’T HAVE TO SEE TO BELIEVE.

EVERY DREAM, EVERY VISION THAT SEEMS TO BE DEAD CAN BE RESURRECTED. THE LIFELESS VISION IS JUST A FAITH AWAY FROM WAKING UP AND COMING ALIVE.

THEY WERE HAVING A WAKE BEFORE JESUS ARRIVED. THEY WERE WATCHING THE BODY BEFORE BURIAL, THATS WHAT WE CALL A WAKE. PEOPLE WATCH DEAD DREAM’S , VISION’S, AND DEAD PURPOSES, AND THEY LOOK AT THEM AND SAY ISN’T THAT A PRETTY CORPSE. I THOUGHT THIS VISION WAS FROM GOD BUT IT’S DEAD, I GUESS IT WAS JUST MY THOUGHT’S, SO I WRAPPED IT UP AND BURIED IT. WE HAD A GOOD FUNERAL.

WHAT WE NEED IS NOT EVERBODY COMING TO A WAKE TO TALK ABOUT THE DEATH OF A VISION, BUT WE NEED TO CAUSE AN AWAKENING THAT CAUSES A SHAKING IN THE GRAVEYARD OF  DESERTED VISIONS.

FAITH DOESN’T STOP WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS DEAD. I HAVE ALMOST BURIED VISIONS THAT GOD GAVE ME AND THEY SEEMED TO BE DEAD. BUT OUR FAITH MUST NOT BE LIMITED TO WHAT WE SEE, OR FEEL.

FAITH MUST NOT STOP WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS DEAD. THE STONE THAT HAS BEEN ROLLED TO THE TOMB HAS TO BE MOVED. THE STONE HAS TO BE MOVED FROM THE PAGES OF THE BIBLE TO THE PAGES OF OUR HEART. THEN WE HAVE THE FAITH THAT DOESN’T STOP AT THE DEATH OF SOMETHING, BUT IS UNLIMITED FAITH.

FAITH COMETH BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. WE SPEAK TO THE VISION, VISION COME FORTH, LET MY VISION BE LOOSED IN JESUS’ NAME. I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE DEATH OF MY VISION, RESURRECTION AND LIFE  TO MY VISION IN JESUS NAME.

GIFT OF FORGIVENESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

MANY TIMES PEOPLE HAVE PURCHASED NICE GIFTS FOR ME.  SOMETIMES IT WAS A SACRIFICIAL GIFT, GIVEN OUT OF LOVE.

THE GREATEST  GIFT EVER GIVEN TO MANKIND WAS GIVEN BY OUR CREATOR. THE GREATEST INSULT IS TO REJECT THAT GIFT. NONE OF US WOULD REJECT A GIFT FROM SOMEONE WHO LOVES US, WHO MEANS US NO HARM IN GIVING THE GIFT, IT IS AN ACT OF LOVE.

UNDESERVING AS WE ARE, OUR CREATOR HAS A GIFT FOR US, IT IS A GIFT OF FORGIVENESS, AND   HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. IT ONLY COMES IN ONE PACKAGE.

ROMANS 6:23

FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

JESUS IS THAT GIFT. I WAS SPIRITUALLY DEAD, WITHOUT THE LIFE OF GOD. I WAS BORN A SINNER, SEPERATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD, UNRIGHTEOUS, I WAS. BUT WHEN I CALLED ON THE LORD BY FAITH. HE FORGAVE MY SIN AND IMPUTED TO ME HIS RIGHTEOUSSNESS, WHAT A GIFT  IN THE SAME BOX.

ROMANS 5:17

FOR IF BY ONE MAN’S OFFENCE, DEATH REIGNED BY ONE; MUCH MORE THEY WHICH RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE  AND OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTOUSNESS SHALL REIGN IN  LIFE BY ONE, JESUS CHRIST.

JOHN 3:16

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY  BEGOTTEN SON, THAT  WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

WHAT A GIFT TO THE WHOLE WORLD, WHOSOEVER WILL RECEIVE THIS GIFT BY FAITH SHALL BE A RECIPIENT OF FORGIVENESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. 

TO RECEIVE, SAY FROM YOUR HEART, JESUS, FORGIVE ME AND COME INTO MY HEART, I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE RESURRECTED SON OF GOD. I RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE, IN JESUS’ NAME.

THE LIFE GIVER

 Nowhere in the Bible do we find where Jesus came to bring death. Everywhere He went, He brought life. He is the access to the Father, the only access. He raised the dead.  He gave eternal life through His death. 

In John 10:9-11 Jesus said,  –

      I am the door; (or I am the access to the Father) by Me if any man enter in, He shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  

      The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

      I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

Jesus is the door to the sheepfold.

He is the way of life. 

Who would shut-up the way of life, to live the way of the world?

We are in this world, but not of this world.

By Him, we have eternal life, but we can also move about on this earth, living in two worlds (heaven and earth), freely, with His guidance, without fear of the enemy.

Why?  Because He watches over us.

He is our Shepherd; the Good Shepherd.  He watches  over us individually, with tender care, and self sacrificing love.

The Shepherd died, that we might live.

 

 Also, our Shepherd knows when it is time for us to go home to heaven.

At that time, He will call us.  But before that, He will prepare us for our journey.

Many are afraid of death.  They walk around in fear of the unknown.

We, as children of God, are to have life each day and not dread and fear of death.

For, Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly:  More than we can possibly use.  Abundant supply.

Those who receive life from Him, have within them, continual sources of life for others.

We witness: they get saved: they witness: others get saved; and it goes on…

Those in their graves, who are dead in Christ, will know life again. This is our Blessed Hope.

1 Thessalonians 5:14, 16-18 —-For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep (or die) in Jesus will God bring with Him.   

       For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

      Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

      Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

 Part of our abundant life in Him, is to know these things, this great promise of being able to be with our loved ones, when the end of this age comes, who died in-Christ.

Every day, I go to Greenville from my house, I have to pass by my Daddy’s grave.  I have the peace of knowing his soul and spirit are not in that grave, but are with Jesus.  Only his body is left there, but it will be resurrected on that day of the Rapture, and if I am passing by that way  at the time his body leaves that grave, I can watch it come up and meet the Lord in the air with My Daddy.

To me, it’s as though he is on a trip and will soon return to me.

Woman of God, it is an abundant life when we know that we know we are ready to meet the Lord, should He come today.

Sinner, don’t be left behind. Trust Him today to care for you as your good shepherd.

Jesus loves you; He gave His life for you.  You are not really living until you put your life in His hands.  I’ve heard people say, “I’m not ready, I am still young.  I want to live my life they way I choose.”

What are you giving up to invite Him into you life?  I’ll tell you.  You are giving up eternal torment and destruction for eternal life;  You are giving up hell for heaven; you are giving up the lordship of Satan, for the Lordship of Jesus Christ;  you are giving up no peace for the “Prince of Peace.

Some women tell me they are afraid their boyfriend or husband will get mad or even leave them if they ask Jesus into  their lives.  Would you sell your soul to the devil for someone who wants you to go to hell, and to be eternally separated from God?  He doesn’t love you, he loves himself, he loves the sin you share with him.  He is just like the devil, when he gets through with you, he will laugh at you.   This might seem harsh , but believe me, I have seen too much of it.

We can decide to serve God and live according to His standards, or we can set our own standards and live outside His blessings.

The choice is ours.

Proverbs 8:36 —But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all that hate Me love death.

Romans 6:23 —For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is coming a time when all this will be played back in your mind computer.  You will remember when you were witnessed to about your soul’s destination.  Their is only one way you can be born again, saved from destruction:

For you who did not pray that prayer with me,

Invite Jesus into your heart now,  don’t live another day without Him, there is no promise of another chance.

God is righteous and demands full obedience from His creation.  He will not tolerate unrighteousness, and designed hell to eternally house those who are not willing to submit their lives to Him.

There is no other way to the Father but through Jesus.

Jesus said in John 14:6 … I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by Me.

Jesus is Life.  He is still giving life.

      John 3:16 — For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Think about it.  Everlasting life.

Look at verse 17,18 —-For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

      He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

Pray this prayer with me, and receive Jesus, by faith, as your Lord and savior:

Jesus, come into my life, and save me.  I am sorry for my sin, I repent of my sin. I am tired of trying to live my life, my way. I give my life to You.

Deliver me from every stronghold of bondage. In Jesus name I pray.

Thank You for saving me.

We have already seen where Jesus Christ is life, conqueror over death, and the only way to the Father.

There are also special promises from God for those who serve Him:

      Eternal life

      Peace

      Joy

      Abundant life

      Heaven

      Escape from hell

There is a great contrast between heaven and hell, and both are real places: one to joy and one to darkness with no hope.

Choose the life giver.

HOW TO BE FREE

JOHN 8:31,32  THEN SAID JESUS UNTO THOSE JEWS WHICH BELIEVED ON HIM, IF YE CONTINUE IN MY WORD, THEN ARE YE MY DISCIPLES INDEED.

AND YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE.

TRUE DISCIPLES OF CHRIST LOVE THE WORD OF GOD, THEY LIVE BY THE WORD OF GOD.

DISCIPLES OF JESUS HAVE A RELATONSHIP WITH THEIR MASTER.

I REMEMBER HOW BOUND I WAS WHEN I FULLY GAVE MY LIFE TO JESUS.

AS THE HOLY SPIRIT LED ME INTO THE PATH OF THE WORD OF GOD, MAJOR CHANGE TOOK PLACE IN MY LIFE. THE THINGS THAT I USE TO LOVE I BEGAN TO HATE AND THE THINGS I USE TO HATE I BEGAN TO LOVE.

THE TRUTH OF THE CRUCIFIED RESURRECTED CHRIST BECAME REALITY IN MY LIFE.

I BECAME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS, A DISCIPILINED FOLLOWER OF MY LORD.

DISCIPLES MAKE DISCIPLES  WHO MAKE DISCIPLES.

JESUS CALLED US TO BE DISCIPLES THAT WE MIGHT HELP OTHERS TO BECOME DISCIPLES.

IF WE DON’T ALLOW GOD’S PROCESS BY CONTINUING IN THE WORD OF GOD WE WILL NEVER BE FREE OURSELVES. IF WE DON’T CONTINUE TO LIVE BY THE WORD OF GOD, WE NEVER CHANGE AND WE NEVER TOUCH OTHER PEOPLES LIVES THROUGH WHAT GOD WAS ALLOWED TO DO IN US .

IF WE BECOME FREE, WE CAN LEAD OTHERS INTO DISCIPLESHIP.

WE WERE BORN TO IMPACT THIS WORLD WITH THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

WE WERE ALL BORN TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF OUR LORD THROUGH PRECEPT AND CONDUCT.

GRAVEYARD WORSHIP

MARK 14:3-9   AND BEING IN BEHTANY IN THE HOUSE OF SIMON THE LEPER, AS HE SAT AT MEAT, THERE CAME A WOMAN HAVING AN ALABASTER BOX OF OINTMENT OF SPIKENARD VERY PRECIOUS: AND SHE BRAKE THE BOX, AND POURED IT ON HIS HEAD.

AND THER WERE SOME THAT HAD INDIGNATION WITHIN THEMSELVES, AND SAID, WHY WAS THIS WASTE OF THE OINTMENT MADE.

FOR IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOLD FOR MORE THAN THREE HUNDRED PENCE, AND HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO THE POOR, AND THEY MURMURED AGAINEST HER.

AND JESUS SAID, LET HER ALONE, WHY TROUBLE YE HER? SHE HATH WROUGHT A GOOD WORK ON ME.

FOR YE HAVE THE POOR WITH YOU ALWAYS, AND WHENSOEVER YE WILL YE MAY DO THEM GOOD: BUT ME YOU HAVE NOT ALWAYS.

SHE HATH DONE A WHAT SHE COULD: SHE IS COME AFOREHAND TO ANIOINT MY BODY TO THE BURYING.

VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, WHERESOEVER THIS GOSPEL SHALL BE PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WORLD, THIS ALSO THAT SHE HATH DONE SHALL BE SPOKEN OF FOR A MEMORIAL OF HER.

MAN HAS ALWAYS WANTED TO CONTROL HOW PEOPLE WORSHIP AND WHERE THEY WORSHIP.

NO ONE IS THIS HOUSE WAS OFFERING WORSHIP TO JESUS, BUT THIS WOMAN.

THIS ACT OF WORSHIP COST HER SOMETHING. WHEN SHE OPENED THE BOX AND BROKE THE SEAL AND POURED THE OIL ON JESUS’ HEAD.

TRUE WORSHIP DOESN’T ORGINATE FROM A RELIGIOUS SELF RIGHTEOUS SPIRIT, A PRIDEFUL SPIRIT CAN NEVER WORSHIP GOD.

THE FRAGRANCE WAS RELEASED WHEN THE WOMAN OPENED THE BOX AND BROKE THE SEAL.

THE HEART OF A PERSON HAS TO BE HUMBLED AND BROKEN BEFORE IT CAN WORSHIP GOD.

THIS SPIKENARD WAS A VERY FRAGRANT COSTLY OIL. IT WILL COST YOU SOMETHING TO TRULY WORSHIP GOD. CHEAPE OIL DOESN’T HAVE A GOOD FRAGRANCE.

WE HAVE TO BRAKE THE SEAL AND POUR OUR LOVE ON JESUS. WORSHIP IS NOT JUST WORDS BUT  A SURRENDERED LIFE.

TRUE WORSHIP IS ATTACHED TO THE NEW BIRTH, BUT IT IS ALSO ATTACHED TO DEATH. JESUS SAID THE ACT OF WORSHIP WAS DONE TO ANOINT BY BODY FOR BURYING.

TRUE WORSHIP IS ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, TRUE WORSHIP IS WHEN OUR OLD MAN IS BURIED AND WE HAVE RESURRECTED TO A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST.

WORSHIP IS FROM A CHANGED HEART THAT PUTS MORE VALUE ON JESUS DEATH ON THE CROSS THAN ON MAN’S SOCIAL PROGRAMS AND MAN’S OPINION OF HOW TO WORSHIP.

WE MUST TAKE CARE OF THE POOR BUT IT CAN NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF THE CROSS. A PERSON CAN GO TO HELL WITH A FULL STOMACH OR AN EMPTY STOMACH, BUT HE CAN’T GO TO HEAVEN WITHOUT JESUS AND HIS CROSS.

TODAY WE HAVE A SOCIAL GOSPEL TRYING TO WORSHIP GOD THROUGH MANY WAYS.

GOOD WORKS IS NOT WORSHIP UNLESS IT COMES FROM FAITH IN THE DEATH OF JESUS AND THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS.

NO RELIGION WORSHIPS GOD, ONLY THOSE WHO WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE NO ONE COMES UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY HIM.

WHO GIVE MAN THE AUTHORITY TO DETERMINE HOW TO WORHSIP GOD, THE MURMURERS ARE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL. I SAY THIS WITH GREAT SADNESS. MANY GOOD PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HELL BECAUSE THEY DON’T HAVE FAITH IN THE WORK OF THE CROSS.

THIS WOMAN HAD FAITH IN JESUS AS THE JEWISH MESSIAH, SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING, SHE WAS ANIONTING HIM FOR BURYING.

GOD BORROWED A WOMB AND BORROWED A GRAVE.

JESUS DIDN’T LIMIT THIS GREAT ACT OF GOD TO JUST ISRAEL, BUT HE SAID IT WAS DONE, THAT THE GOSPEL OR GOOD NEW’S WOULD BE PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WORLD.

THE HEAD IS JESUS, THE HEAD IS THE ANOINTING AND THE ANOINTER.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE HEAD (JESUS) YOU ARE DEAD.

ALL OF THESE PEOPLE WHO SCOFFED AT THIS ACT OF ANOINTING THE HEAD FOR BURIAL, WHO GAVE YOU THE AUTHORITY TO DECIDE WHO YOU WORSHIP.

GOD IS THE CREATOR AND THE SUPREME AUTHORITY, MANS RELIGION AND LEADERS CANNOT GET YOU TO GOD. ALL THE RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD THAT DENY THAT JESUS IS NOT ONLY THE SON OF GOD BUT IS GOD COME IN THE FLESH, THEIR TEACHING  IS A DECEPTION OF SATAN TO CARRY YOU TO HELL.

I SAY THIS WITH GREAT LOVE AND HUMILITY, IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR THE MERCY OF GOD I WOULD BE INVOLVED IN RELIGION. BUT GLORY BE TO JESUS I RECEIVED REVELATION OF THE CROSS AND RESURRECTION OF MY SAVIOUR, THE JEWISH MESSIAH JESUS.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE HIM IN YOUR HEART BY FAITH, YOU ARE LOST, AND ON YOUR WAY TO HELL.

COME TO HIM AS YOU ARE AND HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH HE WON’T LEAVE YOU THAT WAY. HIS GRACE WILL SAVE YOU AND GIVE YOU HIS CHARACTER AND CHANGE YOUR DESIRES.

CALL ON HIS NAME AND ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART.
