It’s Beyond Me

When I reach out unto the unknown,
“It’s beyond me”
When I hear you say, “Step up higher”
I say, “It’s beyond me”
Though I know from your word,
I can do all things through Christ:
“It’s still beyond me”
Though I hear your voice, and move:
“It’s still beyond me”
If it were easy I wouldn’t have to
stretch-out but I know that
“You are there beyond me”
Fulfilling what I can’t, and saying,
“Come on I am in every circumstance
whether big or small, still I move you
out to places with Me that you will know
when you get there, and say”
“It’s beyond me”
But still you move knowing you never
could, but I can through you.

I’ll say what You tell me, I’ll go where You send me,
Even though I know it’s You

Intellegence report from military leaders: LARGE ARMIES COMING TO DESTROY JERUSALEM!!!

In response, King Jehoshaphat turned his troubles face to seek God.

The Lord said, “Be not afraid nor dismayed (fearful, confused, or discouraged) by reason of this great attack, for the battle  is not yours, but the Lords.”

When King Jehoshaphat received that word from the Spirit of  the Lord, he told his people, “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established (built-up, supported). Believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.’

Then King Jehoshaphat did a strange thing to many, he appointed singers unto the lord, to proclaim: PRAISE THE LORD; FOR HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER!!!!!

The Lord responded by setting an ambush against the enemy.

Remember – The battle is the Lord’s – Seek Him. Praise Him!   (II Chronicles 20)

You Alone

YOU ALONE

I seek Your face, O Lord my God,
My heart, it trusts in You.
I need Your touch, Your plan, Your peace:
This is what I need, it’s true.

I give You all I have to do,
And all my life and will.
I give You everything that comes my way,
And to You alone I yeild.

There are those who know You, Lord,
Who go through trials galore.
I want to help , but how can I?
It’s You they need the more.

For what You do to help them, Lord,
Is show them how to live,
And cast their cares upon You, Lord,
And rest upon Your will.

I have a peace in all of this,
But at times it brings me down.

And rest myself in You alone.

A Word From God

It is up to you to trust Me each day with my plan.

It is up to you to follow Me as I lead.

I will never put you in doubt about anything.

There are those who don’t understand what I have taught you.

It is not that I don’t want to teach them, it is that they want some of their life’s control.

To allow me the honor of controlling their lives would give them all the stability they need.

When you need My time, I am here with you.

When you go, I go with you, but when you say, “Take control,” I know that whatever I want to do through you, I can.

I see your mind about this: it is to follow Jesus when He said, “I only say what the Father gives Me, and I only do what the Father says.”

This is what I want for you too, but to do this, you have to loose all control of each day, and trust Me with all that must be handled, even if it is something you don’t want to say or do.

It is up to Me to handle the outcome.

HOW TO DEAL WITH OFFENCES

Luke 17:1 – Then said He (Jesus) unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

A fact: It is impossible to live as a Christian and not be offended. The purpose for offences, is to stop God’s purpose.

People don’t mean to offend us; but sometimes they do so because they don’t understand what God is doing in our lives. Sometimes they offend us because they are jealous.

Different reasoning brings offences, but the purpose is to destroy God’s purpose.

Matthew 16:13-18 – When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Phillipi, He asked His disciples, saying,whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said,  Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon Bar-Jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven.

Peter received divine revelation of who Jesus was, but did not understand the purpose of Jesus.

When Jesus began to explain the purpose of God for His human life, Peter did not understand, which offended Jesus.

Peter, unknowingly, tried to stop the the purpose of the Father through Jesus.

Matthew 16:21-23 – From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that He must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took Him and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from Thee, Lord: this shall not be unto Thee. But He turned and said unto Peter, Get thee behind Me, Satan: thou art an offence unto Me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Personally, I believe that all offences come from the forces of the enemy to stop the purpose of God. People who understand who God is, don’t understand how God is working-out his purpose.

Children of God don’t get offended by lost people. Offences come from other Christians. 

We loose the mind-set of God because we are not seeking God, and we get the mind-set of the flesh.

When we have been hurt, we want to retaliate. We get a mind-set  (or savourest) the things of men and fall into the purposes of Satan. Then we become the offender, and our actions offend the other little sheep; and in the middle of our crusade to get revenge, we stop or hinder God’s purpose.

His kingdom must be more important than our pride.

I have been an offender, and I have been offended.

There is a cross I must pick up.

Peter wanted Jesus to be the Christ, but he did not want the suffering Christ. He wanted salvation without suffering.

We want salvation without suffering. We want salvation without denying our flesh.

For God’s purpose to come, we must sometimes suffer; and even though we have been offended, we must forgive the offender. If we don’t, we will stop or hinder God’s kingdom purpose and hurt innocent Christians who are bystanders.

Luke 17:1-5 – Then said He unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: bur woe unto him, through whom they come! It was better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him: and if he repent thou shalt forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day and turn again to thee sayng, I repent: thou shalt forgive him. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Faith produces obedience, when we choose to obey, the grace of God  comes and  we can pray with power.   Forgiveness is a choice. We make a mental deicision to forgive hurts, trespasses. Jesus is teaching us in the next verse to speak to the very root of the problem, again forgiveness is not a feeling but a decision.

If we hold on to offences  we either hinder or stop  God’s  purpose in our lives . We must speak to the tree of unforgiveness, this thing that is trying to grow in our lives.

Praying , and saying,  Lord I choose not to receive this offence in my life, I Choose to forgive. I choose  blessing and not curses.  I refuse to loose my victory. I will not allow unforgiveness to hinder that powerful anointing  for  His purpose on by life.  I will forgive them even if they never ask me to.   I speak to every mountain of bitterness  that has tried to attach itself to me, Go and be cast into the ocean of forgetfulness, I am free and blessed. Peace and joy will fill my life and the heavens are open to my prayers. Glory to God!

Child of God, please don’t take this as that I am judging, but as I am trying to help someone because I have fallen in this trap before myself.

NEVER LAY YOUR WEAPONS DOWN

WE ARE TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE THAT WE HAVE WEAPONS. THESE ARE NOT FLESHLY WEAPONS, BUT WEAPONS OF A SPIRITUAL NATURE. THESE WEAPONS GUARD OUR SOUL.

FIRST, WE HAVE WEAPONS AGAINST THE WORLD, WE CALL FAITH.

 I JOHN 5:4 –  FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.

 THIS FAITH IS THE PRODUCT OF OUR BELIEF THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD (V.5).

THE NEXT WEAPON IS AGAINST SATAN, THE ENEMY OF OUR SOUL, WHICH IS THE COMPLETE ARMOR OF GOD FOUND IN EPHESISNS 6:11-18 –

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL, FOR WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES (PLACES OF AUTHORITY). WHEREFORE TAKE UNTO YOU THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL TO STAND, STAND THEREFORE, HAVING YOUR LOINS GIRT ABOUT WITH TRUTH, AND HAVING ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; ABOVE ALL TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH, WHEREWITH YE SHALL BE ABLE TO QUINCH THE FIREY DARTS OF THE WICKED. AND TAKE THE HELMET OF SALVATION, WHICH IS THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD. PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYERS AND SUPLICATIONS IN THE SPIRIT. 

YES, PRAYER IS ONE OF OUR GREATEST TOOLS, OR WEAPONS IN WARFARE. WE CANNOT GO TO BATTLE WITHOUT IT.

THE LAST WEAPON I WILL MENTION IS THE WEAPON AGAINT THE FLESH. THIS WEAPON IA THE SPIRIT. 

GALATIANS 5:16-25 – 

THIS I SAY THEN, WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND YE SHALL NOT FULFILL THE LUST OF THE FLESH. FOR THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT AGAINST THE FLESH: AND THESE ARE CONTRARY THE ONE TO THE OTHER: SO THAT YE CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YE WOULD. BUT IF YE BE LED BY THE SPIRIT, YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW. NOW THE WORKS OF THE FLESH ARE MANIFEST (PLAIN), WHICH ARE THESE; ADULTRY, FORNICATION, UNCLEANNESS, LASCIVIOUSNESS, IDOLATRY, WITCHCRAFT, HATRED, VARIANCE (DISCORD), EMULATIONS (JEALOUSIES), WRATH, STRIFE, SEDITIONS (DIVISIONS), HERESIES (FALSE DOCTRINES), ENVYINGS, MURDERS, DRUNKENNESS, REVELLINGS  (WILD PARTIES),  AND SUCH LIKE: OF THE WHICH I TELL YOU BEFORE, AS I HAVE ALSO TOLD YOU IN TIME PAST, THAT THEY WHICH DO SUCH THINGS  SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

BUT THE FRUIT OFTHE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, AND PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: AGAINST SUCH THERE IS NO LAW. AND THEY THAT ARE CHRIST’S HAVE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH WITH THE AFFECTIONS  (IT’S PASSIONS) AND LUSTS. IF WE LIVE IN THE SPIRIT, LET US ALSO WALK IN THE SPIRIT…!

THE LIFE GIVER

Nowhere in the Bible do we find where Jesus came to bring death.

Everywhere He went, He brought life.

He is the access to the Father, the only access.

He raised the dead.  He gave eternal life through His death. 

 

In John 10:9-11 Jesus said, —

      I am the door; (or I am the access to the Father) by Me if any man enter in, He shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  

      The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

      I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

Jesus is the door to the sheepfold.

He is the way of life. 

Who would shut-up the way of life, to live the way of the world?

We are in this world, but not of this world.

By Him, we have eternal life, but we can also move about on this earth, living in two worlds (heaven and earth), freely, with His guidance, without fear of the enemy.

Why?  Because He watches over us.

He is our Shepherd; the Good Shepherd.  He watches  over us individually, with tender care, and self sacrificing love.

The Shepherd died, that we might live.

 

 Also, our Shepherd knows when it is time for us to go home to heaven.

At that time, He will call us.  But before that, He will prepare us for our journey.

Many are afraid of death.  They walk around in fear of the unknown.

We, as children of God, are to have life each day and not dread and fear of death.

 

For, Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly:  More than we can possibly use.  Abundant supply.

Those who receive life from Him, have within them, continual sources of life for others.

We witness: they get saved: they witness: others get saved; and it goes on…

 

Those in their graves, who are dead in Christ, will know life again. This is our Blessed Hope.

1 Thessalonians 5:14, 16-18 —-For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep (or die) in Jesus will God bring with Him.   

       For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

      Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

      Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

 

Part of our abundant life in Him, is to know these things, this great promise of being able to be with our loved ones, when the end of this age comes, who died in-Christ.

Every day, I go to Greenville from my house, I have to pass by my Daddy’s grave.  I have the peace of knowing his soul and spirit are not in that grave, but are with Jesus.  Only his body is left there, but it will be resurrected on that day of the Rapture, and if I am passing by that way  at the time his body leaves that grave, I can watch it come up and meet the Lord in the air with My Daddy.

To me, it’s as though he is on a trip and will soon return to me.

 

Woman of God, it is an abundant life when we know that we know we are ready to meet the Lord, should He come today.

 

Sinner, don’t be left behind. Trust Him today to care for you as your good shepherd.

Jesus loves you; He gave His life for you.  You are not really living until you put your life in His hands.  I’ve heard people say, “I’m not ready, I am still young.  I want to live my life they way I choose.”

What are you giving up to invite Him into you life?  I’ll tell you.  You are giving up eternal torment and destruction for eternal life;  You are giving up hell for heaven; you are giving up the lordship of Satan, for the Lordship of Jesus Christ;  you are giving up no peace for the “Prince of Peace.

Some women tell me they are afraid their boyfriend or husband will get mad or even leave them if they ask Jesus into  their lives.  Would you sell your soul to the devil for someone who wants you to go to hell, and to be eternally separated from God?  He doesn’t love you, he loves himself, he loves the sin you share with him.  He is just like the devil, when he gets through with you, he will laugh at you.   This might seem harsh , but believe me, I have seen too much of it.

We can decide to serve God and live according to His standards, or we can set our own standards and live outside His blessings.

The choice is ours.

 

Proverbs 8:36 —But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all that hate Me love death.

Romans 6:23 —For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is coming a time when all this will be played back in your mind computer.  You will remember when you were witnessed to about your soul’s destination.  Their is only one way you can be born again, saved from destruction:

For you who did not pray that prayer with me,

Invite Jesus into your heart now,  don’t live another day without Him, there is no promise of another chance.

God is righteous and demands full obedience from His creation.  He will not tolerate unrighteousness, and designed hell to eternally house those who are not willing to submit their lives to Him.

 

 

 

There is no other way to the Father but through Jesus.

Jesus said in John 14:6 … I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by Me.

Jesus is Life.  He is still giving life.

      John 3:16 — For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Think about it.  Everlasting life.

Look at verse 17,18 —-For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

      He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

Pray this prayer with me, and receive Jesus, by faith, as your Lord and savior:

Jesus, come into my life, and save me.  I am sorry for my sin, I repent of my sin. I am tired of trying to live my life, my way. I give my life to You.

Deliver me from every stronghold of bondage. In Jesus name I pray.

Thank You for saving me.

There is a great contrast between heaven and hell, and both are real places: one to joy and one to darkness with no hope.

Choose the life giver.

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR ROY/KINGDOM WORKS

John 14:12 – Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.

Kingdom works, believer’s works, the works of Jesus, He taught, He preached, He healed.

If we are believers in Jesus, we are also believers in His works.

To me, this is my commission: teach the Gospel—-explain; preach the Gospel—-proclaim; heal the sick by His power—-demonstration.

The same Holy Spirit that anointed Jesus, is now anointing the body of Jesus.

It’s a challenge to all of us to do these kingdom works. The King said we shall do them

THE HEAVEN CONNECTION

Prayer is the connection to heaven. Prayer is the culture of Jesus.

This is the way He did it. Prayer releases heaven’s will on the earth.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Luke 6:12 – And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

His prayer was done in secret, yet it was no secret that He prayed often, for long periods of time.

The will of heaven was known and released by prayer on earth.

This is the way Jesus did it.

This is now our culture.

Our missionary team will be traveling to the Dominican Republic, mid June. Their purpose is to construct a Church in a very poor village, far away from civilization, where there is no electricity. We desire you prayers.

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR ROY

I take this opportunity to speak to our friends and veiwers in a personal way to thank you for your active participation in this ministry. You are very much appreciated and loved by myself and Jeanette.

Yesterday, was great day for us. Both services were blessed with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The messages were well received by our congregation. The subject was revival.

We can all have personal revival. We don’t have to wait on anyone else. I can remember when I was a child, and I wanted to go swimming before it got warm; I would beg my mama, “Just let me put my feet in the water!”

As I waded in ankle-deep, the water felt so good, I would delibertly pretend to stumble and I would fall completely into the water and begin to swim.

We begin ankle-deep, but it feels so good to be in the presence of God, I jump into the river of the Holy Ghost and begin to swim.

If we will only worship God every day, the river will get deeper and deeper; deeper into His presence. The fire on the inside of us will get so hot, the fire on the outside that is trying to destroy us, won’t burn us. The Son of God is in the fire with us.

Please take time to worship God. Jesus will draw closer and closer to you and revival will take place in your life.
